Well there is no denying it now - cooler times and Easter are just around the corner, in fact, the nights are cool right now. My little grand nestling will be winging her way north as we speak to meet up with her Dadda on his 2 week's leave from Afghanistan. I'd just love to be a fly on the wall when they spot each other.
The first drop of Milky are now on line. Milky has a great range of not only affordable and comfortable but pretty snazzy essentials to keep your nestling looking smart as the temperature starts to drop.
Here are just two examples - the bike romper and the chevron romper. I love the quirky little things that turns a basic essential into something that bit extra.
To celebrate my son reaching the half way mark of his tour of Afghanistan there is 20% off all full priced items until 10 April when his leave ends. Just enter "halfway" at the checkout.
Till next week have a little peek and these two Milky delights;

Scary memories
The cooler days are approaching and as we
all know there is plenty of activity outdoors in the colder days. I remember with dread the year one of my sons decided he
wanted to play soccer instead of basketball, which was at least in a nice warm
stadium. At that time we lived in a place where there was 'real' winter. Waking up on Saturday morning
to hear the sound of rain, knowing that soccer would be cancelled, was a joy as
there was just nothing like standing around in the freezing cold trying to look
enthusiastic. Luckily the urge to play
soccer only lasted one season and then we were back on the basketball court.
So, if its your turn now to stand around
the soccer field or the netball court and you have a little nestling you are
definitely going to need and love one of the sleep/ pram pods by Bebe from Minihaha.
There are a few lovely patterns to choose from. So while you freeze on the sidelines your
nestling does not have to. Does not seem
fair, does it!

Warm days, snuggly nights
Well the days may be warm but the evening and nights are starting to get a bit of a chill to them. What can be more perfect for your nestling that getting out of the bath and snuggling up with their own little blanket that can take them all the way to bed when the time is right. Dulcie and Banana blankets are in stock - 4 patterns available. All are of 100% cotton and are 100cm x 70cm. These are just perfect for the car and pram as well. I don't know which one I like best: Gone Fishing, Autumn leaves, Toot, toot or Sweety tweety. They are all wonderful.

Last burst of warm weather
Well the cooler days are around the
corner - amazing how quickly the time
goes. I am still in Jordan where life is
very different but the same. Different
in that when I am here I stay with friends in a small and rather poor village. What is missing in financial and material
terms is made up for 100 times in social connections and supportive
community. You can never be alone here. What is the same though, is the bond of
family and the love of children. Here
families are very big and while it is not so common to have 12 or 13 children
now, 5 or 6 is still the norm.
The first arrivals of winter stock are on
line with Andy and Evan for the young nestling lads and Bebe and Fox &
Finch baby for both our nestlings.
Hootkid, Milky and more are on the way and you’ll be seeing them soon
In the meantime the last hurrah for summer
stock is now on the clearance rack with lovely rompers from Talking Red,
handmade of course. There are four
colours to choose from but no matter which you choose your nestling will be a
standout in Talking Red. You’ll see them
on the girls clearance rack and the boys clearance rack:
Summer lettuce scarves for Mum are also
reduced by 40% . Just add the code
‘Lettuce’ on checkout.
See you soon

Welcome to Autumn
Winter is almost here!
Well, dear readers. Greetings from Jordan where it is a touch
cooler than home. Having said that, it
looks like the snow has gone for the season.
I am having a wonderful time catching up with very, very dear friends
and spending time with Hizran, a young 16 year old girl who I support who lives
in a girls orphanage. Some of the tales
I could tell you! Just makes me want to
cry.
I did tell you, didn’t I that winter was
going to be fun for nestlings. Well
Minihaha has arrived and I have some truly beautiful Fox & Finch Baby and
Bebe products to tempt you with – mind you I don’t think you’ll need much
temptation. I just love the colour mix
and the variety. I mean, a jacket is a
jacket – but not with Bebe and Fox & Finch Baby. They turn jackets that keep you warm into
JACKETS!!!! The same goes with rompers
and tees. I know I have not been doing
this for a long while and its been over 27 years since I had a nestling to
dress but I just feel this season looks like its going to be brilliant for all
nestlings. Here's two examples perfect for autumn.

Many more things are yet to come and don’t
forget that there are still clearance items that need to walk out the
door. Have a look at the Sapling summer
clearance items – the cotton is just so soft and designs are beautiful. So enjoy dear readers and before I go I want
to say a big thank you to my “packer” who is following instructions really well
but with visual prompts – he’s male after all!!!
Till next week
Rebecca
